F A Q's Isn’t a Personal Chef Service too expensive? From a customer who is using Personal Chef Services. “I thought I was too poor to afford a Personal Chef. I sat down and figured out how much money I was spending on eating out and groceries that were being thrown out because they would spoil. (Even the food in the freezer was not appealing) It was then that I realized that I could afford this service.” See what others are saying!
How often would you cook for me? This depends on your needs and lifestlye. If your work requires periods of travel, or frequent late night evenings, you may not require having a meal every night. It depends on your schedule. You may desire weekly, bi-weekly or monthly service. That's why Bread of Life offers free consultation so together we can determine the service best suited for you.
Do I need to be home when you arrive with the food? Not at all. We can arrange a time most convenient for delivery or you can leave a key with me or a neighbor. I'll put the food right into your refrigerator. During your consultation, we can determine delivery times.
How will my meals be packaged? Meals will be packaged in a Versatainer® package. To learn more about these containers, you can go to: http://www.lacons.com/versatainer.htm
Why don't you freeze the meals? This has become a personal preference. Over the years, I found out that the food I cook, like any other food that is frozen, breaks down. The flavor I started with and worked hard to achieve is not as crisp and bright. However, if you want to freeze the entrees, the Versatainer® container is adaptable and does well in the freezer.
